Ask!

Have you ever feel insecure in your life?

Yes?

No?

Don't lie because I know all of us must have had that feeling. It's very normal, right? When we were small, we were afraid with people that we have never met. We were afraid of dark, thinking that ghost will suddenly appear in front of us and eat us (or was that just me? :P). We were scared on the first day of school because of the new environment. We felt insecure about things that could harm us physically at that time. When WE WERE SMALL.

And now, when we are all grown ups, we still feel insecure. Not about things that may harm us physically, but mentally and emotionally. In any relationship, this insecurity will definitely reside in us naturally. Even if you are happy with the relationship, that feeling will still come. You tend to feel insecure with your partner. You have doubt on his/her loyalty, faithfulness, love, and attention. You don't feel secure giving all your heart, care, love, and trust as you are not sure if it's worth it.

I had that feeling too, once. And it didn't help at all. One of my friend always complaint to me about her boyfriend who was "over friendly" and liked to comment and like other girls' pictures and statuses on Facebook and Instagrm. She didn't tell this to her boyfriend, but she kept on thinking about it. She was afraid if the boyfriend will suddenly fall in love with other girl. That, is exactly an insecure feeling right?

To me personally, if you have anything that bothers your life/ anything that is not right to your sound mind/ anything that aches your eyes/ anything that disturbs your emotion which comes/relates from/to your partner, ASK him/her. Don't assume, don't guess. ASK! You will feel so much better :)

London & Paris 2012 (part 2)

Hey guys! (tetibe)

I regret that I stayed in Paris for only three days. I just love to see the buildings, the monuments, and the museums there. The architectures and the designs of the buildings were breathtakingly beautiful. Should have stayed longer :( Takpe la nasi dah pun jadi bubur (tetibe lagi).

We reached Paris at one of the bus station. We then took a train to Gare Du Nord, since our hotel was located near to it. Gare Du Nord is like KL Sentral, the central and hub for all linked trains. From Gare Du Nord, we walked to our hotel. Initially we thought that it would take us only 5 minutes to walk to the hotel, but that didn't happen T.T it was about 20 minutes freaking walk! WITH everyone's tired body. WITH all the big luggages. WITH all the stuff that we shopped in London to be carried. WITH... ok you feel me? T.T

One of the place that we went to was Camden Lock. Camden Lock is a small town in the outskirts of Paris. At Camden Lock, there were a numerous day market and a lot of souvenir shops. Comparatively, souvenirs sold in Paris are more expensive than in London. Same goes to food and other stuff. So, I prefer to shop in London rather than Paris ;)

 Please.Excuse.My.Face.

 River.Everywhere.

Talking about people, London folks are very friendly. If you are lost or you want to ask for direction, you can just stop anyone and they will be happy to help you. With language as a barrier, I don't encourage you to do the same thing if you go to Paris as English is not their main language.

Near to the Gare Du Nord

Can you see how happy we were when we reached Disneyland Paris? We only went to the gate and took pictures, as we did not have enough time to go in :( Our destination was actually to La Vallee Village, Paris' outlet shopping, the same concept with Bicester Village.

To go to La Vallee Village, you must stop at Val d'Europe station.  Disneyland's stop would be at the last station, Marne la Vallee - Chessy.

Michael Kors murah uolss kat sana

My heart skipped a beat when i was on my way to the most important place to visit in Paris. It was like a dream came true :')

Tour Eiffel (Eiffel Tower in French)

Eiffel tower from different angles, coz I love it sooo muchhhh! :)

Actually, you can climb up the tower with a small entrance fee, but I didn't climb as I went there with the otai-otai.

Us, struggling to get nice shots ;)

River.Everywhere.Part.3. You want Part 4? Hihihi

The crepes, are to die for.

We then headed to Notre Dame of Paris (means Our lady of Paris). Very fine architecture.

Hang ni Lady of Paris ka?

We also went to some of the museums (we didn't enter even one) like Musee d' Orsay, Musee du Louvre, and Paris National Museum.

This was near Musee du Louvre

This unique triangle creation is Musee du Louvre. The museum is built underground :)

I guess that's all that I can write about my visit to Paris. It was only a three days stay in Paris (very short if you minus the time taken to go to the airport, to check in to the hotel, etc). I definitely MUST go to Paris again, InsyaAllah :)

Au Revoir!

London & Paris 2012

Being an airlines staff, you will be naturally.unconsciously.unexpectedly ADDICTED to travelling. That happened to me. I had never really plan for any overseas vacation before I work with the airlines, except to the Asia countries. It was due to the high cost and currency factors, obviously. Flight ticket alone to let say London, would cost me like double of my monthly salary T.T

When I got the offer to work with the airlines two years back, yes, BIG GRIN :) Of course when you are working with the airlines, you will get to enjoy the most special-like-no-other benefit from the company, staff travel privilege.

So, my first trip was to London & Paris back in March 2012. At KLIA before boarding the aircraft, the excitement was already at the max LOL.

It was a 13-hours flight from Kuala Lumpur to London. We reached Heathrow Airport early in the morning, where the Londoners were rushing to work. The train was very full, and we had our hard time to go in and out of the train with our big luggages T.T

I couldn't really remember the itinerary of the whole trip as it was back in March. So, I will write in random :P

We rented an apartment called Umi's Apartment, located at Blackwater House, Edgeware Road. It is owned by a Malaysian, and it is very near to the Oxford Street. It is right in front of a Tesco, and along the street there is like a "Pasar" everyday except Sunday. They sell apparels and foods, just like our Pasar Malam. We cooked almost everyday since the kitchen in the apartment is complete. Like VERY complete. You only need to buy chicken/fish/veges and you are ready to cook. The apartment is nice and comfortable, too bad i don't have the picture.

The first place (this part i remember) that we went to was Primark. Primark is a shop that sells items like apparels, cosmetics, shoes, bags, etc. Two reasons why you should go to Primark; the items there are dirt CHEAP, and they are all NICE!

We went to Oxford Street for about four times since it was very near to our apartment, and we couldn't finish visiting the whole street at a time. It is sooo longgg, and there are sooo many boutiques and shops located there. You can find Mark & Spencer, Zara, Forever 21, Christian Loboutin, H&M, and Clarks to name a few (i can make a paragraph by only listing out the names of the shops).

The next day, we went for sightseeing. If you go to London, you MUST go to these places; Big Ben, London Bridge, Tower Bridge, Buckingham Palace (where there will be Change of Guards ritual, about three times in a week), and London Eye.

Buckingham Palace

Big Ben

K cukup.

We then at night, went to Harrods! There are 7 floors if I'm not mistaken, in this Harrods. You will go crazyyyy!

The following day, we went to Bicester Village. Bicester Village is a factory outlet, home to over 130 boutiques such as Tod's, Burberry, Tag Heuer, Coach, Tommy Hilfiger, Guess, Gucci, Prada, phewww penat.

Ohhh, cara nak menyebut Bicester ni, cenggini. You should pronounce it as Bicester=Bister ;) Kakak-kakak yang travel dengan I went crazy over everything in Bicester Village, especially luxury handbags.

Basically, those were the places that I visited when I was in London. I was there for only 4 days, hence, I did not get to go to any other places. Next time, insyaAllah.

From London, we went to Paris by bus. It was a 7 hours journey and I slept during the whole journey hihihi.

We were in Paris for only 3 days. Sobs.

....to be continued.

Introduction

...and confession.

Writing has never been my passion. Reading too. All this while, I only like reading magazines and blogs. I enjoy reading magazine and blog because they are full with information and the stories and articles in them are short. They are also full with pictures, that help me to imagine things and maintain my interest. Unlike novel and those thick books, i tell you, they require you to spend more than a day to finish.

However back in school time, I did read malay novels. Because... you know why lah kot. Tak payah bagitau. Hihi

When I start working, I am always required to write management paper/proposal, report and whatnot. Since then, I found out that my skill in writing is soo sooooo soooooooo (ok cukup) bad. I will always need to refer to people's work and to the internet, not forgetting to ask my colleagues to help me out. It sometimes took me more than a day to complete one (well, depending on what paper/report). The problems always come not from the perspective of language, but from the way of arranging and structuring the content that I want to build. Nevertheless, after working for more than two years, after writing a lot of reports and proposals, I guess I am becoming better ;)

Let's hope that I will consistently writing this blog, for a better me.
